Savior

you were my savior
i used to feel sad
now i just feel bad
with how i treated you with my behavior

in my ignorance
i didn’t realize my sadness begin to shrink
i didn’t even think
that you made a difference

only now i know
how you helped me
and i could begin to see
through my disavow

you guided me when i was wrong
pointed the right way
even when my mind was astray
helped me stay, safe and strong

it is too late to correct my failure
if you ever see this
i hope you are living in bliss
for, you were my savior
