Seeking Peace in a World on Fire

Your darkness is destroying you and the ones you love

You are becoming your darkness, I seek the light. I don’t believe in the end of all things, I believe in new beginnings. My only answer to your negativity is silence, my only answer to your hatred of anyone not like you is my forgiveness. Your rants, your screams, your threats, your lies mean nothing to anyone who worships the truth. My only prayer your hate doesn’t damage your burned out soul. My only request is give me the same respect I give you without judgement or petty anger. If your need to change my mind is greater than our friendship, I can rise tomorrow a happy man without you in my life. My only vibe this late in life is quiet peace and the need to live a cool pace in a world constantly on fire.
