When he or she goes out shopping in a physical store,
You’ll hope they’re safe & smart — not greedy for more,
Since they know their budgets & options — health & wealth,
Which product would that be — in which aisle or shelf?
When he or she goes online to shop for a special occasion —
Whether a bar mitzvah, party, or gala — a smile for the season,
They’ll make sure to not be tardy or irritable — instead, reasonable,
For promotions are on the horizon if they’re pleasant & sensible.
And when he or she decides to invest in a child’s future,
For that family & confluence present a rich culture,
Regardless of the child’s cancers, syndromes, or hormones,
An adult investor can be their fiber, upgrades, & bones.
There are many houses hidden from view,
But they have similar stuff & struggles, too,
And they see us young adults trying our best,
Even if we scam each other — from east to west.
There are multitudinous profiles searching for a genuine connection,
And these faces & torsos go down the highway — despite any rejection,
Believing that a school building was constructed with a clear dream,
That it would be inhabited with introverts who could work as a team.
