Souls of Peace

A poem

Looking into the sun
An elliptical illusion
Of you is
Smiling at me
Through tears of confusion.

Mirror image-
The face of
Death
Summoning me to the
Heavens.

Questions tear through
Thick air
Unanswered.

Rays brightly shine
Burning with no heat
Love flows deep
Hope written on a rock
On my desk
A reminder.

Fear not
My soul is swept of debris
Do not cry
Only peace enters with
Quiet and
Stillness.
