The Dust Cloud

There’s a dust cloud on the horizon.
Partial obscuration of the sun, they say.

It’s from Africa.
But it, the dust cloud, doesn’t know the names
of continents.

Words like Saharan Desert
or Amazon Rainforest
don’t mean a thing to it.
