The Blazing Performer
It Was Never Her Doing. Mankind Called for Her
There she was,
too scorching to extinguish.
a raging flame that many feared;
a graceful beginning of an end.
They’ve watched from when she first ignite.
Benign, with cosmic-prospects of life.
Tantalized they’ve become;
while bounded, still rooted.
She dances along to
a gentle river as her muse,
the hours were never in her care
but as time flows forward,
they were all in such despair.
For she was an inferno
in the deep seas of trees.
Didn’t choose to be, but once summoned
She was high on the trapeze.
As we helplessly watch,
We left them as they are.
