Eyeballs squeezed
drip and blubber
frustration
over/load
Tears scar my face and
stream frustration and
I laugh hysterically
at the cynicism
of something
somewhere
sparking
outrage
and
fizzling
into gross
amnesia —
Abandoned —
these moribund
embers of
complacency
