I do not know why I am attached
To you
I do not know who wrote the
Prophecy of you and me
An invisible thread
Bounds me
To you
Might as well be a chain
But
I am no longer yours
I am no longer anybody’s
Except
My own
If only that would satisfy me
…Somehow, I am always trying to find a place
To pour out my love.
