My heart is an awe-inspiring sanctuary
Where I lock up all inarticulate words
I know its promising safety is merely temporary
And yet I eagerly agree to all its terms…
For when I dilate the sacred portal of my heart
I know I will not stop pouring
I will become a river, tearing mountains apart
Infatuated with the thought of soaring;
My love will drown those who are fatally uninteresting
Those who fear swimming in turbulent waters
Nothing will prevent their shallowness from splintering
From separating the doers from the crudest talkers…
