The Seer Is Awake
To become who I want to be today
To awake. To become who I want to be today.
(The habits of the past pull me,
they tell me:
“Come,
we are you”).
And I wonder if I am them truly.
Am I awake enough now,
To become the one I am?
I am not who you say I am.
Can you know me wholly?
Even partially?
What do you see beyond the surface,
The appearance,
The obvious,
The skin
and the shape?
If you don’t deconstruct me,
I disassemble myself,
To my most intimate and minuscule pieces
And then, I will build myself again
In my image
In my desire
The way I want to be
I will become
Free of judgment
And if you wish to come along
Then you are welcome
To roam the roads
Among mountains and lakes
As I slide
Down the mountain
Directing myself…
