A Prose Poem

I don’t know where to begin to say I wish I knew how you felt what you think you seem uncertain about whatever I say too it’s a dicey dance this trying to figure out if we will get together for an hour a day a week a lifetime or maybe to go our separate ways why is everyone so afraid what is the actual danger of being honest and real can’t we just say what is on our minds I love you I hate you I want you come to me leave me alone do you think I’m pretty do you want me to love you we can face our fears we are full grown like our insecurities
