Your body, mind and spirit perpetually haunt me
As I continue to fail to let you go

My dearly departed lover
Here very briefly then gone too soon

You still inhabit my heart
Where I walk among the living

It is your brilliance and humor I yearn to see again
Yet never will

I feel your spirit in my soul
Then I realize
