a right to walk in your neighborhood
a right to voice your opinion
a right to be free

these are my rights
they are his and her rights
black, white and mixed
no matter the color of your skin
we share the same rights

go forth and stand for a purpose
make your actions count
use your words to bring about change

be kind
treat every human the same
we are one but we are also our own

life is sacred
life is short
know your rights

don’t be afraid
don’t default to silence
every vote counts
everyone should be heard
