Across The Eye

You’re naked and standing and shouting inside

Your collar has broken and you’ve ran into my eyes

You’re testing my limits and kicking my thighs

Scaffolds have shifted and acids fall and burn through my sides

Naked and laying and falling apart

Dying and shaking and breaking from the start

Beautiful me

Or so you may say

Shouting inside your own brain

Have you been lying about this stage

This isn’t you this is me in a cage

You’re laying naked inside that very room

Heat smothering you down into your shoes

We are time bound

Stuck to the watch

Eyes are dripping down

The bed fell

The memories that lay before died back, letting the water swell
