Carpooling has been one of the most criticized business of the Sharing Economy for “replacing” cab drivers jobs in the cities. Althought there is a real sharing concept behing apps like Uber and Lyft, it is true that the fast growing need for this kind of services — and for jobs — has distorted the way people use them, making them just similar “under-registered cheaper cabs”.
