25th May 2018 is a big date for companies in the EU and beyond. GDPR laws have come into effect.

There’s a nice quiz on the BBC http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-44224802 which demonstrated how GDPR affects individuals and companies (Thanks Janet O’Flaherty ).

The effect of GDPR is also being felt outside the EU. The New York Times has decided to block EU users until it can decide what it should do next
