Today we are proud to announce BMNT’s inclusion in the Inc 5000, Inc. Magazine’s annual list of the fastest growing private companies in America.

Joining so many successful companies in the Inc. 5000 gives us much to celebrate, but I am most proud of the recognition this honor bestows on our mission.

Five years ago, we launched BMNT with the intent of changing the way Silicon Valley and the Department of Defense (DoD) interact. We learned that such a change is not only required — but extends to the entire US government, our partners’ and allies’ governments, the non-profit and NGO communities, and other private sector industries such as healthcare and manufacturing.

So, today, BMNT is Hacking for Defense, Hacking for Local, Hacking for Allies, Hacking for Healthcare — and beyond — a movement that is leading to a wholesale rewrite of how we solve problems and innovate across society.

Driven by our desire for the world to be a safer place and for our work to be impactful, we built a culture that places our clients’ and our country’s success above our own.

Our corporate culture is grounded in the principles of leadership that we learned in the military and applied in the most demanding combat environments. We integrate those principles into the constructive approaches of our spirited designers and hackers who challenge our perceived boundaries everyday. Simultaneously, we hone our approach by working with engineers and scientists who instill the rigor and discipline that ensures the solutions we achieve are sustainable.

It is this orchestrated, well balanced diversity of disciplines, approaches, and methods that make BMNT so successful.

We do this while never losing sight of our theory of change: Continually creating new frameworks and rigorously applying new methods to fix the vast and varying challenges we face in the 21st century.

In doing so, we are not only changing the way society innovates but also the very nature of how we understand the problems of today.

While the BMNT team is fantastic, we are also teamed with incredible partners in the DoD, academia and industry. To those who stood with us as we lit the flame that started an insurgency and stayed with us to fan the flames of a full scale revolution, allow me to offer my humble thanks. We would not be here without you!
