Version 0.9: The Sneak Peek and Beta Testing

Startups and investors, never fear, Waccal is near! Our team at Waccal is done with the way traditional fundraising occurs and are about to introduce a tool that makes it efficient and easy for both investors and startups.

Currently, version 0.9 gives a sneak peak of the type of users on our platform along with the various apps. If you want to be a part of the beta testing group, sign up on the site and we will include you before we have our public launch. 🚀

Who am I?

We have three different user types on the platform:

Startups — Companies in all business life cycles.

Investment Company/Group — Companies and groups that invest in startups.

Individual Investor/Surfer — Startup investors or surfers who are curious about startups.

What features are included for the different users?

There are four major features on Waccal and we call these apps. The four apps are Profile, Network, Capital, and Portfolio. 📱

A Startup account comes with all the apps.

An Investment Company/Group and Individual Investor/Surfer account comes with the Profile, Network, and Portfolio apps.

What do the apps include?

Shhhh! We can’t say much because we want to hold that for launch, but here is an overview of each of the apps.

Profile — Share your story with the world! Tailored and organized sections allow you to focus on the important stuff: the content. Control your privacy by locking sections that cannot be seen by the general public. 👦🏻

Network — Build velocity behind you and your brand by connecting with existing and new networks! It’s never too early to build a strong network of startups, investors, and surfers. 🔗

Capital — Create and manage funding rounds in a centralized spot to increase transparency with current investors and make due diligence easy for potential investors. 💰

Portfolio — Manage all of your portfolio companies in one spot! Get details on current and past investments. Collaborate with your team on potential investments in Deal Flow. 📜

What’s next?

Our team will be hosting a beta test along with delicious food locally in the Seattle area next month. If you are not in Seattle, you will miss out on the yummy food, however, you can still participate virtually! We will reach out to you in one month with more information.
