Disney Cruise Line Adding Three New Cruise Ships
Bob Chapek announces three new cruise ships for Disney’s award-winning Cruise Line.
In between Chapek’s stunning announcements about development in the theme parks. He announced that the Disney Cruise Line would be getting three new cruise ships.
The design of these new ships are currently under development. Disney has stated that one of the ships will be slightly larger than the previous two vessels Disney Dream and the Disney Fantasy. Those ships debuted in 2011 and 2012. Disney has said that the ships will have 1,250 cabins the same capacity on the newest ships. Each vessel is suppose to have a different experience.
The newest Disney ships will be built in the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany. This is the same shipyard that built the previous two vessels.
Despite being new what makes these ships different than the past is that they will be powered by liquefied natural gas. These ships will be the first of Disney to do that.
I’m sure these three vessels will up charge Fanta Orange. If you don’t understand that joke you should go back and read my piece on Fanta/Disney.
My prediction is that the three ships will be named Disney Believe, Disney Enchanted, and the Disney Wish. Let’s see if I’m right.
