Disney Skyliner and “Minnie Vans” Coming to Walt Disney World
Bob Chapek, Chairman of Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, announced two new transportation systems that will soon be coming to Walt Disney World Resorts during the Parks & Resorts panel at D23.
The first transportation system announced is the long rumored gondola system named, Disney Skyliners.
The Disney Skyliners will give guests a bird’s-eye view of Walt Disney World and connect Disney’s Art of Animation, Pop Century and Caribbean Beach resorts, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and the International Gateway at Epcot.
Each Skyliner will have a wrap on them of our favorite Disney characters such as Mickey and Minnie, the new style Mickey and Minnie (that is seen on the new Mickey cartoon shorts and attraction coming soon), Donald and Goofy, and the Hitchhiking Ghosts.
Disney also announced their version of Uber, Minnie Vans.
Minnie Vans will take guests anywhere within Walt Disney World Resort on demand for a flat fee of about $20 per trip.
It has not yet been announced when these new transportation systems will be ready.
