Bodhi Prediction Market Development Update: Mar. 14, 2018
Hi Community,
First we would like to thank you all for the continued support since the launch of the Bodhi alpha on the Qtum testnet on January 2018. In the past few months of alpha testing, we received tons of great feedback and suggestions covering everything from usability and feature request to workflow optimization and more. We’re improving the platform daily to deliver the best possible platform with good user experience built in. We are almost there!

We are currently on the last beta version before the mainnet release, which contains a lot of stability improvements and bug fixes. Among those, I am really excited to highlight 4 of them here:
1. Freshly re-designed user interface
Now all Centralized Oracles are aggregated in the “QTUM Prediction” tab while all Decentralized Oracles are under the “BOT Court” tab. For prediction discovery, “QTUM Prediction” is the one provides enough insights. For justice, “‘BOT Court” is the place to stake BOT tokens and get rewarded for your honest answer.
In the event detail page, the lifecycle and current state of this event are always shown in the right column. The existing actionable item is listed on the left side with transaction history on the bottom.
2. “My Activities” — Personal activities center
In the Bodhi Prediction Market, a Topic Event can be in various states such as “Create”, “Bet”, “Result Setting”, “Vote”, “Finalize” and “Withdraw”. We abstract stateful actions, including “Result Setting”, “Finalize” and “Withdraw” as activities and aggregate them in “My Activities” with bubble notifications. Also, all the pending and completed activities are accessible in the “Activities History” tab.
It not only contains all Bodhi-related actions, but also any balance changes history initialized inside Bodhi application.
3. Account Center — One-stop for token balance management
You can now manage all your “Deposit” and “Withdraw” actions for QTUM and BOT tokens directly from the Bodhi application. All the deposit and withdraw transactions initiated in the application will be displayed in the “Transfer History.”
Users can also deposit and withdraw directly within Bodhi application without dependency on any 3rd-party wallets.
4. Better user experience
“Smoother user interaction and greater confidence” are the target we would like to deliver to all users. Apart from the UI, large amounts of refactors have been completed as well.
For example, all actions issued from the application are asynchronous and cached in your local database immediately, which means that there is no more need to wait for confirmation in blocking UI and no transaction will be lost even though the application exits during the waiting. All the unconfirmed events/actions will be in read-only mode while their states are monitoring/updating in the background simultaneously.
