Community update — Asia Blockchain Meetup Tour
Recently, we’ve been hosting a multi-city Asia Blockchain Meetup Tour throughout June and July! Developed in partnership with Ink and Energo Labs, the meetups are held in more than six cities across Asia including Seoul, Manila, Singapore, Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok. During the events, we are exploring decentralized applications on the Qtum blockchain, including prediction markets, autonomous energy, creative content exchange, and crypto wallet as applied in different sectors while also providing industry networking opportunities.
The Projects:
Bodhi is the next generation of decentralized prediction market platform launched on the Qtum blockchain, allowing users to create and trade on the outcome of finance, sports, politics, etc. Bodhi’s innovative “replaceable oracle” mechanism, powered by Bodhi’s digital token (BOT/BOE), ensures the reliability of the prediction market’s decision-making process.
Ink solves problems existing in the cultural content industry through the blockchain in order to achieve fast IP rights verification, free trade of cultural assets and barrier-free communication of values and information so as to build a new ecosystem for the global cultural industry.
Energo Labs establishes Decentralized Autonomous Energy (DAE) communities where energy is a digital asset that can be traded for several applications such as peer-to-peer, machine-to-machine, vehicle-to-microgrid, renewable energy certificate trading, and virtual net metering.
Qbao is a Qtum-based social network. The vision of Qbao is to become a social network as WeChat which has a complete ecology, including with cross-chain Cryptocurrency Wallet, Payment & Settlement, Token Exchange, Social Network, News & Quotes, and DAPP Store.
