I’ve been trying to get Anthony Soliven to join BOH Society ever since I left my portfolio management job at the bank in 2014. Today, I am pleased to announce that Tony will be joining BOH Analytics Inc., this October.

I first met Tony in 2012. He was a hotshot trader fresh out of college and training to be a securities dealer for BPI AMTG’s Odyssey team. He quickly rose in prominence within the group and established himself as one of our top portfolio managers. Currently, Tony manages Php20 billion worth of equity AUM for BPI AMTG, and before his current role, he was the central dealer and a portfolio manager in Sun Life where he oversaw managing Php90 billion worth of equity AUM.

Tony has over 6 years of fund management experience and he specializes in swing trading. He is a CFA and FRM charterholder and, for fun, he is in the process of completing his CMT designation. Tony graduated cum laude with a double degree in Applied Economics and Management of Financial Institutions from De La Salle University.

I believe Tony completes our BOH Analytics Team. His extensive portfolio management experience will be one of his key contributions to our clients. But I think the area where he will have the biggest influence on is TRADE EXECUTION, something that retail traders continue to struggle with on a daily basis.
