TimTheTatman becomes part-owner of a content-focused Complexity

This story about eSports ownership, boiled down, in 1:29 minutes.

What’s the fuss?

One of the biggest video game streamers in the world just became part-owner of an eSports organization owned by the Dallas Cowboys. Steaming is a whole different ball game than it was only some years ago.

The situation

Timothy “TimTheTatman” Betar first started streaming in 2012 to audiences in the single digits.

Tim recently became not only a content creator for, but part-owner of Complexity Gaming — a major professional American eSports organization.

Boiling it down

These mega-deals for online content creators wasn’t even remotely fathomable 2 years ago.

There’s tons of money to be made in eSports, but even more in content creation.
