My Profile

In the My Profile section, users can view and update their name, contact number, and email ID. The Manage Signature/Initials option allows users to create and save their signatures and initials by typing, drawing, or uploading them. Additionally, the inclusion of two-step authentication adds an extra layer of security, safeguarding sensitive information and maintaining the integrity of the user’s BoldSign account.

Notifications

In the Notifications tab, users can customize their notification preferences for various aspects of document management, including sender, recipient, CC, and template notifications. This ensures users receive relevant updates and alerts while avoiding unnecessary notifications.

Business Profile

Only BoldSign account administrators have the authority to utilize the Business Profile. This profile includes comprehensive settings for managing:

  • Date and time
  • Custom domain
  • User settings
  • Document settings

These configurations are applied organization-wide, ensuring that document management settings align with the organization’s operational and security needs.

In the notifications section of the business profile, account administrators can control the types of emails that signers and CC recipients receive for documents sent by their organization. Documents

BoldSign provides a suite of document management features. Users can upload documents from their computer or cloud storage and use templates. Users can track the status of documents on the My Documents and Team Documents pages. My Documents displays the status of documents specific to the user, while ‘Team Documents’ shows the document status for their particular team. Only admins can view their team’s document status.

  • Waiting for Me: The document has been sent to you and is pending your signature.
  • Waiting for Others: The document has been sent to multiple recipients, and one or more of them still needs to sign.
  • Needs Attention: Documents that failed to be delivered, maybe due to an invalid email address.
  • Completed: All recipients have completed the signing process.
  • Declined: The recipient did not accept the signing request.
  • Revoked: The sender has recalled or canceled the document.
  • Expired: The document was not signed before the deadline.

In BoldSign, you can create and manage multiple teams. Once teams are set up, you can rename or delete them as needed and use the search option to find specific teams quickly. The account administrator has the authority to create, rename, delete, and search for teams throughout the organization, while the team administrator can only perform these actions within their own team.

Extended language support

BoldSign’s multiple-language feature enhances the user experience by providing signature request emails and signing processes in each signer’s preferred language. This ensures a smooth and tailored signing experience for users from different linguistic backgrounds. When sending a document for signing, the sender can specify the recipient’s language preference. For example, if a signer prefers German, all related emails and instructions will be in German.
