Cycle — the best product feedback tool — reaches GA

At Boldstart, we love to back day-one founders building for the enterprise. When we met Mehdi in 2019, he wanted to find a way to radically improve the cross functional product development process based on his own experience building products. We’d seen first hand massive improvements in experience for customer support and sales people through portfolio companies like Kustomer and Clay, but nothing yet existed for product teams.

Enter Cycle. In addition to solving his own problems, Mehdi knew the best modern companies were building product differently. He wanted to build the infrastructure so all product teams could have tighter communication loops. At Boldstart we were thrilled to lead the initial round with eFounders, Box Group, SV Angel, Hummingbird, 20VC Fund and continue supporting as Base Case and operators like Scott Belsky (Adobe), Kyle Parrish (Figma), Shreyas Doshi (Stripe) joined the $6M round. Since our investment in Cycle we’ve continued to invest in similar tools like Liveblocks and Kumospace that enable modern collaboration. While we’re excited to be an investor since day one in Cycle, what get’s us even more 🔥up is that Cycle is now officially in GA!

The best infrastructure products take time, and product processes all have their own nuances. Since our initial investment three years ago, the team at Cycle experimented to build an intuitive tool where each product team could model their own workflow. On top of that, they’ve analyzed the best product practices from modern companies, including fellow portfolio company Superhuman, making them easy to use.

One of our favorite features from the GA release today is being able to quickly and automatically close the loop with customers who have provided their feedback .
