The BOLT Team
The BOLT Utility Token is the center of the ecosystem: Content Publishers can earn tokens from those who view that content. Community participants can earn tokens by voting on content, or participating in community-based content moderation. Content Translators can earn tokens by contributing translations. And BOLT enables the community to perform governance by voting, to decide the value of tokens allocated to each task.
Partners are able to bill users for their services with the BOLT Token. Blockchain security ensures the value of the BOLT Token is secure and tamper-proof — BOLT Tokens cannot be counterfeited or toppled by political regimes.
Users will choose how the platform operates for them — they can be contributors or consumers, but the super-profits currently earned by centralised social media platforms will not exist. The value exchange in the BOLT ecosystem is shared entirely among network participants.

Jamal is a seasoned broadcast, media and technology entrepreneur. He is the Founder and CEO of BOLT. Prior to BOLT, Jamal held key management roles in NTV7, 8TV and the TV3 group including managing broadcast operations in Malaysia, Mauritius and Ghana.
Previously, Jamal was the Chief Operating Officer of SPH Mediaworks in Singapore, where he successfully launched and operated Singapore’s first private terrestrial television and radio station for Singapore Press Holdings (SPH). Jamal also founded, operated and successfully exited his own television and radio network in Malaysia.
