Dear BOLT community,

We thank you for your patience and we are pleased to now commence Phase 3 of the BOLT Token swap program and invite our OLD ERC-20 BOLT token holders to submit your tokens for swap.

This Phase includes community members with tokens still at binance.com (which can be withdrawn only as ERC-20) and those holders with OLD-ERC-20 BOLT tokens in Ethereum wallets (e.g. from ICO or pre March 2019).

For those with tokens on binance.com or those which have come from hotbit.com, we will require holders to provide additional information via a google form. The details are given in the procedures below.

Each swap will be reviewed as part of our due diligence process to allow only properly acquired tokens to be swapped, as a result tokens will be returned progressively in the weeks after 15th December 2020.

OLD ERC-20 BOLT Tokens should be sent to the swap address by the deadline date of 23:59 UTC 15th December 2020 UTC.

We have extended the swap deadline in response to a number of requests from the community regarding the delay in issuing these instructions.

For those who have still not submitted their BEP-2 BOLT for swap, we also include the Phase 2 swap instructions for your reference. The same deadline and return process applies to these tokens.

If you require support in your swap, please reach out to our telegram or email swap@bolt.global

We greatly appreciate your ongoing support of the BOLT project.

Phase 3: Swap of OLD ERC-20 BOLT Tokens (Including Exchanges)

The process for swapping the old ERC-20 BOLT will vary depending on when the tokens were acquired and where they are stored. This has been made necessary due to dubious transactions of a large number of ERC-20 BOLT which occurred on HotBit.com on and after 25th March 2020. We previously pre-warned Traders multiple times against acquiring and trading Tokens on Hotbit, and reserve the right to reject the swap of any Tokens acquired on HotBit on or after 25th March 2020.

ERC-20 BOLT fall into 3 categories, based on whee you have held and acquired your BOLT Tokens, so we have processes for each:

  • Always held in a private wallet — here
  • Sent to Binance.com before 25th March 2020 — here
  • Sent to Binance.com on or after 25th March 2020 — here

3a. ERC-20 BOLT — always held in a private wallet

Those who hold OLD ERC-20 BOLT in private wallets or Hardware Wallets (e.g Ledger, Trust, Metamask etc), please send your tokens to our swap address:

0x2F21B23151b5b386955Db6C946180bdbaD17F3b6

Note: We will be manually verifying that tokens sent for swap DID NOT originate from binance.com before returning NEW ERC-20 BOLT to your sending Ethereum address after 15th December 2020.

If you have withdrawn your BOLT ERC-20 from binance.com, please follow the process in Phase 3b below.

3b. ERC-20 BOLT — Sent to Binance.com for Swap before 25th March 2020

We require those who deposited to Binance.com before the 25th March 2020 who wish to swap their tokens to fill in a form, where we ask the following information:

  • The ETH Address that you are sending from (must not be an Exchange address).
  • Evidence of deposit to binance.com, including the TxID of the deposit transaction to Binance.com (either Ethereum or BinanceChain TXID).
  • If funds were transferred from Hotbit.com, evidence of the trade on Hotbit , including the Hotbit deposit address and date of trade.
  • If eligible for swap, we will only transfer tokens back to the originating address.
  1. Fill in the form at:
    https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdtKKJzVvF9TfOr2GvpoaeJloL2ABXuoNILHshaSe727OhHwQ/viewform
  2. Withdraw your BOLT from binance.com as an ERC-20 Token to a Personal ETH Wallet (there is a 10 BOLT charge for the withdrawal and BEP-2 Withdrawals are not enabled) — We CANNOT return tokens to an exchange address.
  3. Send your OLD ERC-20 BOLT tokens to our ETH swap address:
0x2F21B23151b5b386955Db6C946180bdbaD17F3b6

We will then verify your details and return tokens to your sending address after 15th December 2020.

3c. ERC-20 BOLT — Sent to Binance.com from HotBit.com for swap on, or after 25th March 2020

These tokens will be further reviewed under our due-diligence process. Each will be assessed on a case-by-case basis as to their eligibility for swap.

Please follow the instructions in Section 3b above.

The following information has been previously announced and we provide it again here for those who are still holding BEP-2 BOLT and wish to swap it.

bnb1l4a5mh4qxllzwsynukec6daa2d86c273ta3dtm
  • The transaction sending the BEP-2 BOLT for swap must include a MEMO containing your ERC-20 wallet address that we will send your NEW ERC-20 BOLT.

An ETH address is of the form “0x…….
e.g. 0xa01c26b0a9◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆8b83124158fac

  • The ETH address you provide should have a small amount of ETH already deposited (this is to assist us to ensure that it is a valid address)
  • No responsibility will be accepted for lost tokens due to incorrect or invalid ETH addresses.

Notes:

  • We will aim to expedite the return of your NEW ERC-20 BOLT to your nominated ERC-20 Wallet.

Note For BOLT X wallet holders:
