Dear all, we are really pleased to welcome three new hires to the BOLT team. Joselaine, Thomas, and Rachel each bring critical skillsets and expertise for us to continue our growth trajectory and mission in enabling the world’s first open entertainment economy.

Joselaine “Josi” Maia — Data Analyst

Josi graduated in Business Administration with a specialisation in Finance. She has 13 years of experience working across various multinational companies, including Vale, Enel and COMO Group, specialising in planning, forecasting, and management reporting. In her career, she has helped companies to improve performance and cost analysis through the development of new data-led commercial strategy. She moved to Singapore in 2016 and is enthused by the business, culture and food in Asia.

Thomas Alexander — Marketing Manager

Thomas graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) and a Diploma of Sustainability at Swinburne University of Technology, Australia. Thomas has 6 years of marketing experience, with 3 years in the not-for-profit sector. He has a passion for driving social impact campaigns and has a wealth of experience in social and digital strategy, content planning, advertising, campaign management, community management and social media reporting.

Previously, Thomas was the National Digital Communications Advisor at the Heart Foundation of Australia, implementing their first digital media strategy and managing their social media and content team. Before the Heart Foundation, Thomas led emergency appeals as the Senior Social Media Manager at CARE International and also delivered digital advertising solutions for Sensis, Australia’s number 1 marketing services company.

Thomas has marketing experience in China, Malaysia, Vietnam and Japan via work placements, marketing tours and International exchange. Outside of work you will find Thomas on Singapore’s running trails, attempting to train for an ultra-marathon or two. You may also find Thomas cheering on his favourite Premier League football club Newcastle United, although quietly of late.

Rachel Tabithanya — Content Production Executive

A citizen across multiple countries in Asia, Rachel was born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia and moved to Malaysia for further studies in high school. Rachel has an art degree in Digital Film & TV and has been working as a short film and video director, producer, and writer across Indonesia and Malaysia. At BOLT, Rachel focuses on BOLT Originals productions, particularly for a localised context. To her, there is no better feeling than entertaining people purposefully through the content she produces.
