Just as our skies have been brimming with activity over the past weeks, BOLT has been swept up in a whirlwind of exciting events recently:

BOLT X HISENSE

We are excited to announce that major Chinese electronics manufacturer Hisense will be our title sponsor and co-marketing partner for the upcoming rugby tournament in Japan and other events next year. This will greatly increase our reach in South Africa, where Hisense has a significant presence.

As part of this sponsorship, Hisense will pre-install the BOLT+ app in their latest E30 smartphone model, which will launch this month in South Africa. Hisense will also mention BOLT+ in their E30 promotional events and collaterals.

As co-marketing partners, Hisense will amplify our marketing efforts for the rugby tournament this year by cross-promoting BOLT+ across their global digital platforms. Aside from fun competitions and a social media takeover, we will also specially tailor a playlist of South African rugby match highlights and behind-the-scenes, which would be viewable on the app on Hisense devices. This marketing tie-up will continue on to 2020, with more opportunities to come!

BOLT in Berlin

Earlier this week, co-founder Christel Quek swung by #IFA2019 in Berlin as a special guest of Hisense.

While she was there, she caught up with Hisense CEO Jerry Liu, with both parties reaffirming their positive relationship and discussing the roadmap of the partnership in 2020.
