3 Reasons why you should join us at Inventrom
I recently joined Inventrom as a Human Resource Manager. In just a few days of being here, I can say that I am proud to be a part of this Inventrom family. Here are a few reasons why I love it here.
- A new thing everyday!
As with any company, it is always appreciated when you constantly strive to improve upon your knowledge either by reading books/articles or by watching videos or by attending various workshops and training sessions. But here at Inventrom, we take it a step further. We allot one hour every day to every employee just to learn something new (In line with their role in the company of course). At the end of the week we share what we have learnt with others so that they too may benefit from that information. Thus each individual actively seeks out ideas and methods for self-improvement. Clever way to do that right?
2. Not a typical boss.
If you call somebody sir, or madam you may have that somebody pull your leg. We do have reporting managers who make sure that we are working and fulfilling our daily duties. Trust me, when it comes to work, they are deadly serious but they are your buddies too.
Life at office can get very difficult when we do not have a good relationship with our boss. Differences arise because individuals have different expectations, work ethics, and goals. The people that join us here at Inventrom are people who not only are at the same wavelength like all the others but are best at what they do and are entrepreneurs of their own accord. Everyone here always encourages everyone else to bring in their ideas and speak up. You feel important here because your opinion matters.
3. I skate to where the puck is going to be, not where it has been.
It’s good to work with the latest technology, but what’s even more exciting is that I get to work with the technology of the future. Innovation is to the core of Inventrom. A testimony of the same is in the various awards received and recognition the company is garnering for its cutting edge innovation. We were the winners of DST-Lockheed Martin India Innovation Growth Program, ET Power of Ideas and Chief Minister's Award for Best Startup in Goa. In fact, we were one of the startups showcased in the Silicon Valley during the visit of Prime Minister of India in 2016.
‘The Bolt’ is revolutionizing the way IoT products and services are built and developed. It’s amazing to see Bolt being deployed in use cases from farms in villages in Karnataka to Desks of CEOs in Delhi. It’s wonderful when you know your work is touching so many lives.
So why I am at Inventrom? Let me answer with this famous Wayne Gretzky Quote “I skate to where the puck is going to be, not where it has been.”
