When I was little and watching the Wizard of Oz I would immediately identify with Dorothy. Here was a young girl bravely facing a haunted forest, a sky-writing witch, and mean apple trees all the while staying true to her single-minded effort to get home. She knew what she wanted and did everything she needed to get it. Plus she liberated at least three groups along the way, flying monkeys…
