THJ Faucet Quest: https://faucet.0xhoneyjar.xyz/quests/liquid-gold-rush

Our Boogalist has been designed to promote proper allocation of whitelist spots amongst the community. Whitelists are necessary and they help reward loyal users that want to get early access to the mint and a discount. However, short-term users that mint and immediately list the NFT under mint price, negatively impact the minting process. With our mechanism, we aim to refine the allocation method to ensure a smooth mint, so all our Booga Beras fall in the hands of long-term holders! No paper hands allowed.

How does it work?

Booga Beras will have a two-layer whitelist. Layer one is for the Boogalist Ticket NFT free mint, and layer two is for the Booga Beras NFT mint.

Boogalist Tickets: This ticket is required to participate in the Booga Beras mint. There are two tiers of tickets, BOOGA and OOGA, each with its own benefits. Both tickets are NFT’s, and they will be a free mint in our partner Kingdomly’s platform. The mint will be on Arbitrum and Kingdomly fees will be paid in ETH. This ticket is fully tradable on NFT marketplaces like OpenSea.

Booga Beras Mint Details

BOOGA Boogalist Ticket: Allows holders to mint a Booga Beras NFT on the first round, at 50% discount. 690 tickets. 1 mint per wallet. The mint cap is raised by 1 for every 5 minutes that pass. (Overallocated by 40%)

OOGA Boogalist Ticket: Allows holders to mint a Booga Beras NFT on the second round, with a 30% discount. 4,200 tickets. 2 mints per wallet. The mint cap is raised by 1 for every 5 minutes that pass (Spots overallocated by 20%, mints heavily overallocated)

Boogalist Open Round: If Boogalist Ticket holders didn’t manage to mint a BB, they can do it in this mint. All Boogalist Ticket holders are whitelisted for this stage. 1 mint per wallet, at full price.

Public Mint: The public mint will open right after the Boogalist Open round. Here, any user can mint a Booga Beras NFT without a cap per wallet, at full price.

Additional details like price, supply per minting round, Boogalist ticket supply, date and time will be revealed thoon. Details are still subject to change.

How do I get a Boogalist ticket?

The Boogalist Ticket Mint Process

The idea behind BOOGA and OOGA NFT tickets is to allow users to trade the WL NFTs in the open market. Because of this, the ticket mints will happen in phases over an extended period.

We’ll start collecting WL addresses and doing promotional events on Monday 22nd of April. As we collect addresses, we will open up mint phases of 500–1,000 tickets in our partner platform Kingdomly. Once all tickets are minted, the phase closes and users will have to wait for the next one. This allows us to continue doing WL events with our partners and gives users multiple opportunities to secure their Boogalist tickets.

In between rounds, Boogalist tickets can be traded in NFT marketplaces like OpenSea, and the market will decide the price based on demand for the mint and allocate spots to users that really want them.

We will announce Boogalist Ticket mint phases with ample time, so everyone is ready to mint!

A Tradable Whitelist?

The idea is simple, by enabling trading of WL spots, we allow the market to distribute spots more efficiently than we ever could. If a user hustles for the BOOGA ticket and really wants to mint a Booga Bera, then the user will hold it. If the intention was to flip it, the user can simply flip the ticket to another person that actually wants to mint a BB and hold it.

By over allocating our whitelist, it’s possible that even users with the ticket will be unable to mint in the BOOGA and OOGA rounds, making it riskier for flippers to keep the ticket instead of selling it before the BB mint.

We understand that BOOGA and OOGA ticket holders should have at least 1 mint, so anyone that didn’t manage to get the discounted mints in the first two rounds, will still have 1 remaining allocation spot in the Boogalist Open Round.

The final opportunity to mint is the public mint. This one will have uncapped mints, so you still need to be quick.

Note: If you feel that overallocation of WL is not fair as you might not be able to mint, then don’t worry, we’re sure you will get your spot. Users that care enough about these things are usually early to WL mints and they easily secure a spot. In most mints, there’s leftover WL mints, and we don’t want this to happen. Healthy overallocation ensures a good mint event, which then sets up the collection for growth.
