Football Manager: Chapter IV, Summer transfers
Some notable transfers during the summer
Deals for Icardi and Isco were done early so at the opening of the Transfer Window in England they were the first to move. City looking to bolster their attack.

Dortmund took their chances with Fred.

Lemar who was not registered in Man City’s League squad the season before left for an impressive fee to FC Bayern.

Not sure why Real bought Origi but it was definitely one for the future.

Chelsea looking to go young and talented. Would be interesting to see if Faith Terim would play Kuki as a starter.

Man Utd looking to loan rather than sell Fosu-Mensah.

City getting another attacking player with no homegrown status.

….. while also improving the defence with another none homegrown.

Tottenham looked to clean up the squad, like they were compensating for the wages of arrivals Victor Kovalenko and Paco Alcacer.

Inter snapped up Morata for a very good price. He is seen as the replacement of Icardi.

After being released from Barca it took some time for Arda Turan to find a new club.

Man Utd sold Jones, losing another home grown player.

Januzaj left as well for a below par fee.

Barcelona snapped up Lemina, a decent defensive midfielder for a decent price.

Steven Naismith headed to relegation candidates Brentford.

Chalobah leaves Chelsea for more opportunity with Everton.

Marco van Ginkel headed back to the Netherlands, leaving Chelsea as well.

James Ward-Prowse returned to the Premier League.

Mourinho kicked out another player, as Blind who headed north to Sporting.

In a surprise move Stoke managed to loan Martin Odegaard from Real Madrid. He had been on loan spells ever since he joined them. One of the scouts told me Real only had a £11,75 million release clause on him.

Another Spurs player left, this time for Leicester City. Lee Johnson was making some good decisions.

And Utd getting more reinforcement to bolster their defence.

Monreal returned to the Premier League as he joined Leicester City. He had been with PSG for two seasons.

Scottish youngster Ryan Gauld decided to play in the U.K.

Barcelona tried to make a move for Draxler but they failed on personal agreements.

Valencia snapped up Man City’s experienced midfielder.

It remained quiet for a while in regards to big transfers.
On the last day of the Transfer window there weren’t any big names moving around.
