Project ORB Update (Mar 30th, 2017)
Here are the latest updates on Project ORB. We are excited about the announced global launch of Spells of Genesis(SoG), scheduled this coming April, with plans to improve Book of Orbs even further; in sync with the SoG launch. The following, are features that will be added to BoO in the coming weeks.
New card release notification on BoO:
We are going to improve the push notification feature on BoO, to better allow SoG players, know when new cards become available on SoG. Never miss the chance to buy SoG’s all original, beautifully designed cards!
Swapbot integration:
In addition to the improved notification system, we aim to provide a more intuitive and, convenient experience, for card purchasers and traders. More specifically, we plan to integrate SoG’s merchants (Partner, Premium and, Public) on BoO, to allow users to buy new cards from any of those merchants, directly within the app.
Hardware wallet integration and watch only address:
Up until now, securing your valuable SoG cards have been a difficult task; especially for beginners. In order to address this problem, Christian Moss; of Mandelduck, has recently released a simple web interface for Counterparty tokens; for the Ledger Nano S hardware wallet. While, it still has a lot of room for improvement, in terms of features and interface, it already allows users to store tokens in the hardware wallet, and transfer tokens in and out of the cold address.
In addition to that, we are soon, going to add a “watch only address” feature to BoO, so that you can still enjoy your SoG card collection, while securing them in a hardware wallet.

BoO and SoG smooth linkage:
We are going to add the ability to link the Book of Orbs and SoG app, in the background, similar to that of the interaction between BoO and Takara. With this, users can easily and securely, prove token ownership, register their public address and use blockchain cards on their address in SoG.
In the future when “tokenization” is ready for SoG, the tokenized cards will be sent automatically to the BoO’s registered address. This will allow even beginners, to get started with ease and take advantage of the blockchain’s security, openness and, transparency, without any prior knowledge.
Future plan:
The features described above, (i.e. notification, hardware wallet integration, linkage with BoO) for SoG, can be applied to other games and projects, instantly on our platform. With these improvements, our users can enjoy digital asset (ORB)collection, even more with increased security, and convenience; whilst titles on Book of Orbs, can expect an increase in card sales, user engagement and, cross collaborations with other titles and, so on.
Furthermore, we are in talks, with several projects who wish to be listed on BoO, and we anticipate more titles, and an increase in trading. This comes, especially, after the coming SoG launch, making the whole ORB experience even more fun and unique.
