Fix, Freeze, Feast
God gave you freezer space for a reason. To save time later. So go use it. With this book as your guide.
Kati and Lindsay have outdone my expectations with this book.
I’m an omnivore with big hopes for recipe books. So often they’re ravenously consumed but leave me empty hearted and stomached.
I started wondering whether everything had been done. Then I discovered Fix, Freeze, Feast and I realised the culinary world has so much more to give.
There are not only recipes for every possible state of larder; all tastebuds are teased by what’s in this glorious compendium of divine delights.
I’m sometimes a pretend veggie and I found loads of great recipes to use up my eccentric supply of black beans.
Uncle Dave’s recipes (bless!) more than sated my carnivore moments. Loved the pizza and the bbq chicken recipes, especially.
We all want to cook ahead. Few of us find the time, ironically. But now we have the instructions on how to do it and the recipes that save the best. And let’s face it — we all have space in the freezer for some meals for later.
Loved the tips about popping the bags in massive cans or jars when you’re pouring in sauces, and the laying bags flat to freeze then stacking them up like books to conserve space.
Kati, Lindsay, be proud. I’m sure the 1st edition was great — but this one, well. It rocks!
