About the piece

From Siri: This is one (and the best) of a collection of essays published by Meghan Daum from her book Unspeakable. She writes about her relationship mother as she holds vigil by her bedside. Just a devastating examination of their relationship. She doesn’t hesitate to describe her resentment and her inability to resolve it. It’s breathtaking and powerful.

See you then!
