Hi Bookshelf Beats Followers,

Thank you so much for taking the time to follow my publication, I greatly appreciate it. I wanted to take a moment to encourage you to check out my interview with drummer, rapper, and producer J-Zone where we discuss Lisa Belkin’s book “Show Me a Hero”. Belkin’s book deals with racism, segregation, and zoning in Yonkers, New York during the late 1980s and was recently turned into a successful HBO mini-series by David Simon (Generation Kill, Homicide, Treme, The Wire). Though the events in the book happened many years ago, the content seems more topical than ever.

If you enjoy the article, please consider recommending it or sharing it on social media. I also love to hear feedback about my work, both good and bad, so please reach out if you have a chance to read it.

Thank you for your time and have a great day.

Gino
