Far too many people these days behave as if they’re starring on some mean-spirited reality TV show.

— They share personal details of their life with almost anybody.

— Completely self-absorbed, they love being the center of attention and believe the whole world revolves around them.

— They’re bullies who brag about the ugly things they do or say to waiters, hotel maids, and people they deem beneath them. But they take great offense if their nasty behavior is called out or questioned.

— They are always the innocent victim and woefully misunderstood.

— Everyone is a mortal enemy out to get them.

— They’ll flip a table or throw a drink at the first imagined slight.

— Their favorite words are, “What did he/she/they mean by that?”

A silly tale of four cousins

My cousin, Vanessa (all names have been changed to protect moi), got into a public shouting match with another cousin, Florence, a few months ago.

It was ugly. They were once close, but since the fight, Vanessa and Florence have barely spoken to one another.
