Crowdfunding expert
After graduating, crowdfunding is everything she’s been into as a professional. Starting from a managerial position, she now holds a leading position in the largest platform for business and technology startups in Eastern Europe. Mariya gave numerous lectures and interviews on what is crowdfunding, how to start a campaign and succeed. Now she plans to publish a book to share the experience. After she becomes the first woman to scale her platform to the whole world, of course.
No prejudice
More and more women across the globe have begun to occupy leading positions. The first woman president in history Vigdís Finnbogadóttir (Iceland), Sheikha Moza of Qatar, reforming the state in social and education fields — all that doesn’t come as a surprise now.
I think it depends on the inner attitude. I don’t have any gender clichés in my head, so consequently, I don’t transmit any hidden doubts about it. Once again, I’m focused on a product, not me! I have an objective in my mind — to do a useful project, not for my salary or attention and recognition from the others, — says Mariya.

Under Control
One of the best qualities of a leader is to be into everything going on in your company. Mariya is always interested in every detail of the workflow, ready to support or give advice. This what the Alexey Danilov, the early investor, and financial expert, has to say about it:
In Mariya, I’d like to note full commitment to what she does — it’s essential nowadays. That’s what I noticed in the first place. If a person ignites an idea, they “light” everyone around, and a rule have the right thoughts to implement a project successfully. It’s exciting to work with such a person, hard sometimes, though. Mariya appreciates like-minded people.
Professionalism — she always knows, what she does and why, and even she doesn’t know anything, she figures it out and then acts.
One of the main features for me is being attentive to people — and that’s what Mariya is like! By that I mean she HEARS people, not only listens to them. It’s a right combination with being committed,as I have said before. That’s what a Chief Officer of such an ambitious project needs!
