Alexey Danilov is a 32 years old financial expert and early Boomstarter.network investor. He works in factoring and attracts clients, describes their projects. Alexey knows the team in person, have visited our office and hosted a live stream with CEO Mariya Dokshina and has something to tell you about his way of investing.

How did you come to blockchain?

Last December, my wife gave a ticket to Private Money Forum, I love different business and personal training. I met Evgeniy Gavrilin there, at the end of the meeting he talked about cryptocurrencies. That was a scary title for me back then. In 2014 my colleague offered me to buy bitcoin at $350 price, but I thought it was a “grey” scheme. After the forum, when bitcoin was $20.000, I talked to this colleague, and we remembered that case.

I got interested in mining, and Evgeniy provided me with a manager who explained me everything. I also met Ruslan Tugushev, who told me about his project Storiqa. I was startled by how competent and passionate Ruslan was. He was into the idea, the project.

That is how I started taking up blockchain. I didn’t know what is ICO back then, so I didn’t invest in Storiqa. I like how blockchain solves the trust problem and the idea behind smart contracts.

Why did you invest in Boomstarter?

I came across Boomstarter accidentally. I realized Ruslan and Storiqa had something to do with it, and that the project was based on traditional business. I don’t want that to sound like advertising; it’s just my personal opinion.

First of all, I like the ideology of the project — Boomstarter makes this world a better place. When investing in a token, I always read what the token does, how it can be useful to people. As an investor, I feel satisfaction that I helped the world, not just got the money.

Second of all, it the competence of the people working here. As I had seen the fire in the eyes of Storia’s team, I knew the same would go here. When I met Mariya, she was meticulously answering all my questions for 2 hours, plus I’ve seen the office, learned about the skills of the team.

What do you think about ICOs and the crypto market?

Good provocative question. Of course, most ICOs are scam, and one should delve into the project before investing. It’s not a problem now to organize a Skype call and ask to show the office, the team, the software. It’s like shopping. You either buy what you need or purchase everything indiscriminately.

What about the falling market, I think it’s par for the course. The technology is young, and it should settle. The price is not an indicator. One thing is speculation. Another — the technology.

Have you ever lost your money in crypto?

I have. It depends on how you see it. If you see it as a problem, you just run in a circle like a hamster. If you see it as a challenge, you get experience and learn how to figure out the team, the site. In my opinion, ICOs now are more qualitative, and it’s harder for them to raise money, at the same time.
