Maximize your developer team’s velocity

A developer team’s velocity is the key for agile development. But sometimes we suffer from sources of burnout such as misunderstanding on the tech specs, repeated progress updates and so on during the agile development iteration.

To solve that we are thrilled to introduce the document centric workflow with new properties, smart views and new folder. Check out below for all the updates!

Document Properties

Customize your document with rich properties for Date, Person, Time, Status and Label. You’ll be able to change the prop title for all, add new options for Status and change the background color for Status and Label.

New folder page

Moreover, with regards to document organization, the new folder page works as an information management system.

Being able to view and manage document properties from a single page will keep your dev team on the same page due to high visibility for all information.

This solution would be fit for

Smart Views

⚠️ Note: Smart Folder has been migrated to the Smart Views.

The more information you have, the more you sacrifice searchability. With Smart Views, you’ll be able to filter the document based on doc properties and quickly interact with the sets of documents important to you.

Smart Views works fine for

  • Tech specs: Filter `Label:Tech specs && Assignee:Me` and find a your spec in a moment
  • My Tasks: Filter `Assignee:Me && Status:In progress` and organize my own tasks
  • Reviewers: Filter `Reviewer:Me` and organize pull requests you have to review

Invite teammates today and cut down on the noise and maximize dev team’s velocity with Boost Note’s document centric workflow!

What’s come next

Calendar, Kanban, Gantt chart etc will come soon.

Migrate documents now

Boost Note supports importing documents from other note-taking services such as Notion, Confluence, Evernote, Dropbox Paper, Quip, etc., and file formats for Markdown, Text, and HTML.

Our mission is to “boost developer’s productivity and creativity” and we are passionate about developing a №1 tool for developers.

There are great note apps and wiki tools out there, but they not always developer-friendly. If you believe in the potential of Boost Note, please switch over today with the migration feature from other tools.
