We have the answer, do you have 3 minutes?

If you want to cut to the chase and get the two-word answer then that would be- Coding Bootcamp. Without doubt, that is where you learn Web Development in the best way possible. There! You got your answer. But did you just twitch? Not convinced? Eureka! I’ve found the person I’ve written this article for. Give me 3 minutes and I’ll make you pro-bootcamp on this one.

Minute-01

The Choice.

Yes, you’ve decided to go down the ‘web-development’ road and you’re determined too. Yes, you DO know the difference between front-end and back-end (or DevOps). So, the choice has been made. You log on to an online program or enroll in a crash course for one of these. Let me know if you can switch paths once you’ve enrolled. No? Then what if once you start learning, you don’t like what you chose? Well, guess what — bootcamps don’t have students switching courses mid-way either, but that’s because the students knew exactly what they were getting themselves into before enrolling.

Coding bootcamps are transparent about their curriculum and make sure that the student is actually well-aware (plus interested) in that particular tech stack. They do so by evaluating the student’s profile, taking proficiency tests or even interviewing them. These procedures also help the student understand the course requirements and decide whether his/her interest lies in it or not.

Minute-02

Blast from the past?

We know that for acing web development, we must be well-versed with front-end, back-end and database system. We call it the Full Stack Web Development. But are you sure that the framework practices that you have in your full stack training are not a thing of the past? If you’re self-learning or have enrolled into just another ‘web development’ course, you’re bound to miss out on this important piece of information. Most of these courses give you one-tenth of the required training in these frameworks, and you wouldn’t know that until its too late.

Coding Bootcamps on the other hand, arm you with enough knowledge, practice and application of each framework (from MEA/RN stack) that will make you adept at developing web designs (yes, responsive ones!).

Be it any language or framework, what matters is learning the best practices from the best coaches. And this is the exact package that bootcamps offer.

Minute-03

Your Eureka moment.

I got mine and so should you.

In your story though, it is going to be a lot less simpler. Your Eureka moment is not when you’ve successfully understood the fundamentals of a language, designed efficient algorithms or even smoothly run pieces of your code. The Eureka moment is supposed to be extraordinary. Ground-breaking.

It is when you’ve successfully created your very own, fully-functioning, visually-appealing and entirely efficient project. Your own baby project successfully running is when you jump and say ‘Eureka!’ (Because you found your superpower).

Do you see these three things happening altogether at any other place than one that provides a rigorous, intensive and highly efficient software programs? (psst… coding bootcamps)

Happy conversion ;)
