Hello, this is BORA team.

Today we’re going to have a closer look at how our test net BORA Lagoon works.

Lagoon is a testing ground where you can test BORA services and technical features of BORA Chain-Network.

Developers from different fields can implement and synchronize BORA’s blockchain technology onto their services, and the users can experience how blockchain technology is utilized in our everyday life.

For those who wish to learn case studies of BORA put into actual use, the features will be explained according to Lagoon’s menu.

Introduction: What is BORA?

The Introduction contains a brief description of BORA and its features, with future roadmap plans. Currently, the BORA team is working round the clock for the official launch of ‘BORA 1.0’ scheduled for Q2.

Documents: Guidebook for implementing blockchain technology onto a developed service.

Documents menu contains information about BORA services that developers can utilize. With BORA’s Toolkit, developers can implement blockchain technology onto their services easily even without any knowledge on blockchain technology. In order to provide all-around developmental support, BORA platform synchronization prerequisites with guidelines, and blockchain implementation APIs are provided.

BORA team has made quite an effort to come up with ways to help the developers to easily understand how BORA platform works and test out its features. Thus, we’ve provided exemplar game for the developers to check the basic synchronization and application process. The example is easy to understand for those who’ve had experiences in creating Apps in existing markets.

Documents menu shows Dev Tool Kit functions, where you can find out different kinds of blockchain implementation APIs such as Chain APIs (to record transactions onto our BORA chain), ERC721 APIs (to create NFTs), and Random Number APIs (Random Number Generator).

More APIs will be added as BORA’s development progress. We believe that by reviewing our synchronization guides and exemplary material, developers will be able to gain insights as to how BORA platform can be utilized for their projects.

Feel free to let us know of any development tools or synchronization models that could help to actualize your ideas.

Test Ground: Experience the blockchain service in your daily life.

BORA 1.0 official launch is on the horizon, and BORA team is working day and night for BORA Island development.

Island is a place to enjoy actual blockchain services, where you manage BORA Token and BORA Shell assets, and use a variety of digital contents that are linked to BORA platform. In test ground BORA Lagoon, you can experience parts of the Island features as mentioned above.

Simply become a member to receive 10 BORA Token(testing-only), This can be exchanged into BORA Platform exclusive currency BORA Shell.

The exchanged BORA Shell is used for test Apps such as ‘Push Sushi for BORA’ demo version, a popular game produced by our partnering firm UNIT5, you can even acquire BORA Shell during the gameplay. Experience BORA’s way of utilizing digital content assets, with its layer-two structure in advance.

Explorer: Transparent blockchain data displayed for everyone

BORA Explorer provides transactions data that occur within BORA chain. Until the official launch, BORA Explorer shows transactions that occur within the test net environment. Information, including the hash values, generated time and amounts is updated and shown in real-time.

These may seem like an unfamiliar list of numbers, but there are ways to look at it, and once you learn it, it becomes easy to analyze the blockchain data.

Dashboard

If you go to the Explorer page, you’ll immediately see the Dashboard menu, which shows names of the services that are linked to BORA and their Holders, Current Block (number of blocks generated), and Current TPS.

BORA Shell

In BORA Shell menu, every Shell transaction history are available. And using the toolbar on the left, select a specific service that you wish to see of their Shell transaction history. Blocks section is where block information is gathered in the selected service, and Transactions section shows up to date transaction history of a chosen service.

More specifically, the Transactions category contains Hash values and Block numbers, Success status, and time. Also, if you pay attention to the Method and the Amount of transaction, you can identify the Shell economic flow of each service.

From the image above, we’re able to see that 10 BORA was transferred by ‘From. Wallet address’ to the ‘To. Wallet address’. The transaction took place in ‘Push Sushi’ service on the 15th of May at 16:11:08(Check Contract Address and Service Name), The numbering of the block and its hash value (where the transaction history is recorded) is also available.

Methods can be categorized into following acts:

- Transfer: Receive or Send Shell

- Mint: Inflow of Shell to the service

- Burn: Outflow of Shell from the service

BORA Random Number shows the block data generated during the random number generation process.

-BORA’s RNG API introduction

Try out the API Dice roller which implements BORA’s RNG technology, and check the generated data recorded on BORA Explorer. This will help you understand the mechanism of BORA RNG and how generated data is recorded in the blockchain.

IPFS

IPFS’s search function enables us to find files that are saved in a distributed manner.

For example, in BORA’s NFT API: Auction for Coloring Book, the drawing (NFT) on the auction has ‘IPFS Hash’ value, in which can be entered in the search bar of IPFS menu and the drawing’s information can be found quickly.

Tools

Tools is where we provide the users with addresses that enable them to visit the Ethereum network.

- Relationship between Ethereum and BORA Network: Flexible platform capable of linking up with a variety of mainnets: BORA

Find out how ‘Disclosing information transparently’ is executed in BORA Explorer.

BORA Explorer will be renovated following the official BORA Platform launch schedule. Designs will further improve to make the search process easier, and we hope that users interested in blockchain find the service helpful.
