Hello community, this is BORA team.

BORA Team is made up of young professionals with rich experiences in platform development, infrastructure construction and operations, and game development and services.

Today, we would like to introduce Chief officers leading the teams of BORA.

CEO — Gyehan Song

With years of development experience on various server systems and embedded systems at Samsung Electronics, he has developed multiple game platforms and led businesses over the last 20 years. Starting with the game platform development at NHN, he oversaw the development of the game platform ‘PURPLE’ and also was in charge of platform development At NHN USA. while at Smilegate, he was in charge of both development and business of the mobile game service platform ‘STOVE.’ He has received both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in computer science from Sogang University.

CSO– Kei Yune

Kei Yune has 20 years of strong experience in the development and publishing of PC online and mobile games. For a 6-year term that began around 2010, he was the executive producer of the Hangame poker service that saw around KRW 400 billion worth of sales per year. At 4:33, he led the business for ‘Blade,’ a mobile action RPG that reached #4 in the Google Play Global Top Grossing in May of 2014. He studied economics at Seoul National University and has a unique competitive edge in economics and mathematical architecture design for card games and casino games.

CTO — Igoo Lee

After gaining experience as an Oracle DB tuning consultant for an enterprise company, Igoo Lee moved to a dotcom company where he built his abilities in the area of infrastructure. At NeoWiz Games, Igoo oversaw DB infrastructure operations of blockbuster game titles such as Crossfire and FIFA Online. At Nexon Korea, he managed infrastructure operations, contributing to the stable operation of many game services. He also served as the Technical Director at 4:33, a mobile game publisher. His standout area of expertise is in designing and operating optimized systems for large transactions.

VP Engineering — Kyoungwook Cheon

Bachelor/Master Ph.D. student of Computer Engineering of Seoul National University, Kyoungwook Cheon has a strong background in research on multimedia and communication network security. In 1998 he founded Cellab [Ltd.] and developed FreeChal game portal and year 2000. He participated in the development of Neowiz and Hangame online game platforms. Before joining Way2Bit as a Director of Blockchain Research Institute in 2018, he worked as a CTO at 4:33 Creative Lab.

Based on various experiences and expertise, the BORA team has concluded business agreements with more than 30 specialist companies to build a blockchain ecosystem. Game development companies such as ENP Games, UNIT5, Supertree, Neon Games, and Emong, educational consultant RS Edu, digital healthcare service provider Hurray Positive and grid address platform Infoseed, etc.
