Today, we’d like to share news on BORA participating in ‘Klaytn Hackathon’ as an official partner.
Starting from April 12th, Klaytn is hosting a six weeks long Hackathon event, designed to reach all developers around the world. This is Klaytn’s first blockchain hackathon where developers can create BApps (Blockchain Applications) on the Klaytn’s public testnet, Baobab. Klaytn allows developers to build service-centric, user-oriented BApps. And wishing for more user-friendly, blockchain services to be developed and implemented for everyday use, we look forward to BORA community’s support and participation in this event.
As an official partner, BORA is working hard to make sure that the event is carried out successfully. As part of that, our CTO will participate in the event as one of the Hackathon judges.
The carefully chosen four teams will receive Klaytn token ‘KLAY,’ and the 1st-2nd place teams will be sponsored with plane tickets and accommodations to take part in the blockchain technology forum ‘TXGX’ hosted by Ground X later this year.
Participants who managed to upload their projects during the registration process successfully will each receive 150 KLAY per member (4 members max). The application and registration process is on the official Klay Hackathon website. For more details, please check the Klaytn medium page.
Feedbacks with regards to technical errors or improvements will be utilized for perfecting Klaytn’s mainnet quality, and we anticipate positive external effects on the current discussion of linking BORA platform to the Klaytn mainnet.
Participants’ bright ideas will be the driving force of blockchain service implementation and ecosystem expansion. BORA aims to support this movement by actively taking part in the events, and we strongly suggest that our community members take an interest and participate in this event.
