BORA’s developer, WAY2BIT became a major shareholder of Studio 8 by acquiring stocks 68.92% (1,408,021 shares) of Studio 8.
Studio 8, a game development company, has developed PC online games ‘Astellia’ and ‘Astellia Royal’ which are MMORPG focusing on strategic battles and action with TCG (Trading Card Game) system. These games are in service in various regions all over the world such as South Korea, North America, Europe, and Russia.
WAY2BIT and Studio 8 have a plan to actively collaborate for the development of new game IPs as well as global services of ‘Astellia’ and ‘Astellia Royal’.
Based on the development capabilities of Studio 8, WAY2BIT is going to improve the completion of the Metaverse service that is currently jointly developed by WAY2BIT, Barunson, and Gala Lab, and new blockchain game under development.
