WAY2BIT and LINE POD (Play on Desktop), the PC game online platform of the communication app LINE, have signed a strategic partnership agreement to expand the overseas game service market.
This contract is to secure overseas game users and sales by providing WAY2BIT’s global games in the markets of 10 Southeast Asian countries, including Japan, Thailand, and Indonesia, through LINE POD. Both companies plan to actively cooperate to target the global game market.
As the first step in the partnership, the main titles of the LINE POD service launch in Japan scheduled in this year will be ‘Flyff’ and ‘Rappelz’ of WAY2BIT. WAY2BIT and LINE POD will aggressively conduct collaborative marketing to attract more game users of the ‘Flyff’ and ‘Rappelz’ in launching services in the Japanese market, one of the major global game markets.
A coupon containing items that can be used in the game will be provided to all users who participated in pre-booking event for the LINE POD ‘Flyff’ and ‘Rappelz’ services in Japan.
After official launching games, BORA tokens will be provided as a reward and game items will be provided to users through various events as well.
Other games of WAY2BIT will be continuously introduced to the Japanese and Southeast Asian markets through LINE POD.
