Enzo’s Monday Motion #189: every brand tries to differentiate itself from the rest. These five trademarks have mastered their product placement to a fine art.

The love for concrete

It may be an odd choice for Luxury fittings brand Brizo, but they are totally crazy about that filthy piece of tarmac we all drive on.

By constantly pushing the limits on design, craftsmanship and innovation Birzo uses concrete like the Romans use marble. Advertising Agency Young & Laramore crafted together with motion artist Susi Sie this beautiful art-piece which matches the innovative character of the brand.

Billions of particles

Tendril was invited to translate the key features of the tv-audio brand VIZIO.

The team at Tendril got inspired by the underlying technology and illuminated the billions of nanometre size semiconductor particles by light. It all makes the product stand out in quality and creativity.

The Pen is More Beautiful than the Sword

Büro Achter April crafted a series of artistic brand films for the German writing instrument maker Lamy.

Director Michael Fragstein and the studio were given a blanc canvas so they handled it as a personal pet project putting love in every frame and pixel. They delivered also unique content for the separate models like the Pico and the Swift pen.

Production Proces

Designer/illustrator Eugen Laitenberger is crazy about patterns. No wonder it plays such a huge part in his menswear collection GUNEE Homme. Director Thomas Gugel translated this design process into an abstract brand film.

Gugel shows the different aspects of the process of creation: from solid materials to fabric forming (natural) patterns. Maybe it all seems a bit far fetched but it does look very appealing.

The invisible

If your product works invisibly like a voice-assistant it might be hard to show its strength. Leave it up to the creatives at Man vs. Machine.

The ad highlights the design with a great sense of rhythm. You might even say it makes it look sexier than it actually is. Watch the full series and the design development research on their case page.
