You’re 6 steps away to become successful and be a better version of yourself.

Some of you already know what I’m talking about, some don’t, and that’s the reason why I made this article.

The S.A.V.E.R.S or “Life SAVERS” is a method to power up your life in all aspect. The concept is well known by the successful people and is well explained in the book of Hal Erold, Miracle Morning. That’s where I discover it and decided to share it, at my scale.

Theses savers are little actions to make in the morning, when you wake up. The goal is to help you to start your day in the mood you need to reach your goal, in all field.

No more talking, let’s dive into it.

S : Silence

You can learn more in an hour of silence than you can in a year from books.
-
Matthew Kelly

I was surprised too to find this as the first one, but it’s proven that there is a lot of benefits to take from silence. There is numerous things to do during a silent period : Meditate, Pray, Reflect, Deep breath…

Take a few time when you wake up, or even during the day, to spend in the silence will allow you to evacuate the stress and have a fresh mind to start the day.

A : Affirmations

It’s the repetition of affirmations that leads to belief. Once that belief becomes a deep conviction, things begin to happen.
-
Muhammad Ali

The goal here is to think and repeat to yourself what you want to be and what you want to achieve. A lot of people don’t know, but our inner thoughts define us. If you think that you’re not lucky, you will surely not be. The contrary works too. If you want to achieve something, just repeat yourself that you can do it, and you will do it. Another quote from the book that I particularly like :

Whether you thought you were able or not, in both cases you were right.

V : Visualisation

See things as you would have them be instead of as they are.
-
Robert Collier

Almost the same as the previous one, here, you will have to visualise yourself, achieving your goals, being the person you want to be. By visualising it it will become more and more clear and achievable for you. More than dreaming about it, you will be motivated by it. We always have been motivated by our goals and then taking actions, on fire, but few days later, that fire is gone. Visualisation is like turning on the fire every morning, you will do everything you need to achieve your the person you are in your visualisation.

E : Exercice

If you don’t make time for exercise, you’ll probably have to make time for illness.
-
Robin Sharma

This one could be expected, I think I don’t have to tell you about all the benefits of practicing sports. Adding that to your morning routine, even for a little time, will first be better for your health in general, and be like the fuel of your fire for your body. The morning is the best moment to practice sport, even if you don’t think like it. Try it for a little time, and you will quickly notice that you feel better during the day when you practice sport during the morning, before anything else.

R : Reading

The man who does not read has no advantage over the man who cannot read.
- Mark Twain

For me reading is life, and it should be the same for everyone. By reading, you expend your knowledges, you change your mind, you discover new things. Reading is the gym of your brain, and you should not pass by. Even if your read just few minutes per day, think about it in months or years, how many books that can make you a better person can you read in one year ?

S : Scribing

Ideas can come from anywhere and at any time. The problem with making mental notes is that the ink fades very rapidly.
-
Rolf Smith

The last one of the list, I didn’t expected this one, even if I’ve already a bit experienced it with Instagram when I was used to posted everyday. Here the goal is to keep a journal. Everyday, you just have to take 5 or 10 min to write everything about your day, what you feel, what you have planned, everything. Having a journal is really useful when you go back at it later and see what you’ve done and from where you started. It also allow you to easily think about yourself, your thoughts and your goals, daily.

It seems like nothing, but the combinaison of these 6 steps can really change your life. Actually, the biggest principle of the book, is that you wake up 1 hour earlier to do these 6 steps, taking only 10 min for each. Obviously, you can adapt and personalize it to you and your lifestyle, but you got the idea. If you want to know more, I really advise you to read the book to really understand everything behind this method. If you want to know more before reading it, you can check out the website.

I’ve took a week to start to wake up early and be able to set everything up in order to start my 30 days miracle morning challenge during the month of february. If you want to know more, I will document it on Instagram, don’t hesitate to join me there !
